These terms set out the rules for buying goods on the ORZO Market marketplace and are a public offer. By placing an order, you (the “Buyer”) accept these terms.
Who is who
- Marketplace operator: ASSET KOMPANY LLC (the “Operator”). The Operator provides the ORZO Market mobile app (the “App”), stores goods in its warehouses, picks and delivers orders, accepts payments and answers Buyers’ requests.
- Sellers: suppliers who sell their goods through the marketplace. The Seller’s name is shown in the App before checkout and on the receipt. Some goods are sold by the Operator itself; in that case the Operator is the Seller.
- The contract of sale for goods is made between the Buyer and the Seller of those goods. Delivery and marketplace services are provided by the Operator.
Account
- You need an account to place an order. Accounts are created with a mobile phone number, which is confirmed with a code.
- The Buyer provides accurate information and is responsible for actions taken in their account.
- The Buyer can delete their account at any time. See Delete your account.
Goods and prices
- The description, photos, price and unit of sale are shown on each product page in the App. The Seller is responsible for the accuracy of product information.
- Prices are in Uzbek soums. Photos are for illustration; packaging may differ if the manufacturer has changed it.
- A product can be ordered only if it is in stock at the Operator’s warehouse that serves the delivery address.
Order total
The total consists of the price of the goods, the service fee and the delivery fee, minus any discounts. All amounts are shown in the App before payment.
- Service fee: the Operator’s fee for marketplace services. It is a fixed amount that depends on the value of the goods in the order.
- Delivery fee: the Operator’s fee for delivery. It depends on the distance from the warehouse to the delivery address.
- First-delivery discount: granted once per phone number, including after deleting the account and signing up again.
- Promo codes apply on the terms of the promotion.
- Amounts are fixed when the order is placed. Changes to fees do not affect orders already placed.
Minimum order
The minimum order amount is shown in the App. It includes the service fee and the delivery fee. Orders below the minimum cannot be placed.
Ordering and payment
- Orders are paid in cash to the courier on delivery, or online with Click, Payme, Uzum or a bank card. The methods available are shown at checkout.
- The Operator accepts payment for goods on behalf of the Sellers and transfers it to them; the service fee and delivery fee are paid to the Operator.
- When the Buyer taps “Pay”, the goods are reserved for the time shown in the App. An order paid online is created once the payment succeeds; a cash order is created immediately.
- Online payments are processed by licensed payment providers. The Operator does not receive or store bank card data.
- If money was charged but no order was created, it is refunded automatically to the same payment method.
- A fiscal receipt is issued as required by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Delivery and acceptance
- The Operator delivers during the hours shown in the App. The Buyer chooses delivery “as soon as possible” or at a chosen time, no earlier than the estimate. The estimated delivery time is a target, not a guarantee.
- The courier hands the order to the Buyer or to a person at the delivery address and photographs the order at handover.
- On receipt, the Buyer checks the quantity, completeness and appearance of the goods, the condition of the packaging and the expiry dates.
- Visible defects must be reported to the courier on delivery or to support on the day of delivery.
Expiry dates
Goods are delivered with enough shelf life left for their intended use. If a product has expired or expires on the day of delivery, the Buyer may refuse it on delivery.
Out-of-stock items
If an item turns out to be out of stock after the order is placed, the Operator removes it from the order and sends a notification. The goods total and the service fee are recalculated; the delivery fee does not change. If the order was paid online, the difference is refunded automatically to the same payment method. Items are not substituted.
Cancelling an order
- The Buyer can cancel an order in the App while its status is “New”. If the order was paid online, the full amount is refunded.
- Once picking has started, the order can be cancelled through support.
- The Operator may cancel an order that cannot be fulfilled. Online payments are refunded in full.
Returns and exchanges
- Returns and exchanges follow the consumer protection laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- The Seller is responsible for product quality. The Buyer sends complaints about goods of inadequate quality to the Operator through support, with a photo of the product and its packaging if possible. The Operator reviews the complaint with the Seller and reports the decision: a replacement or a refund.
- Food products of adequate quality cannot be returned or exchanged unless the law provides otherwise.
- The Operator makes refunds to the same payment method, within the period set by law. When the money arrives depends on the bank or payment system.
Liability
- The Seller is responsible for the quality and safety of the goods and for their match with the description.
- The Operator is responsible for the App, storage of goods in the warehouse, delivery and payment handling.
- Neither the Operator nor the Seller is responsible for failures caused by the Buyer or by force majeure. The Operator is not responsible for delays if the Buyer gave a wrong address or could not be reached, or for temporary unavailability of the App due to maintenance or network operator outages.
Complaints
Send complaints to the Operator at support@asset-kompany.uz with your order number. The Operator forwards complaints about product quality to the Seller. You will receive a reply within the period set by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes are resolved by negotiation and, failing that, in court, unless consumer protection law provides otherwise.
Changes to these terms
The Operator may change these terms. The new version is published in the App and on this page and applies to orders placed after publication.
